Optima
Residents' Associations
‘Community driven housing ’ is not just a slogan for
Optima. We encourage residents to get actively involved
in managing life on their estates. Our regeneration team
supports residents by helping them with setting up group,
writing a constitution, applying for funding and so on.
In
addition community facilities are provided on each of
Optima’s five estates where the associations
can hold their meetings and organise social functions.
The associations each receive an annual working cost
grant to assist with their day to day running costs.
Below
is a list of the groups currently active across our estates.
As these groups are often run from residents
homes we prefer not to give out their addresses or
telephone numbers on the website. If you’d like
to contact a residents group, one of our Regeneration
Team will be glad to put you in touch with the
relevant person.
