Regeneration

Community pride initiativeCommunities aren’t just about houses, they’re about people: the homes they live in; their skills to get jobs, their children’s education; their health and fitness; their safety and their involvement in making decisions about the area they live in. Optima’s Regeneration Team is working with a range of organisations to ‘create opportunities and help to improve the quality of people’s lives’. Our focus is on four main priorities:

Members of the team are:

Angela Dyer - Head of Regeneration
Jo Lea - Senior Community Development Officer
James Hobbs - Community and Play Worker
Susan Yates - Community Warden
Paul Kennedy - Community Warden
Margaret Weekes - Money Advice Worker (Seconded from Birmingham City Council’s Debt Advice Team)
Scott Reilly - Trainnee Community Warden
