Locals exhibit their work at Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery

Parents from St Thomas Children's Centre worked with the metalwork artist and jewelry designer Rita Patel to create beautiful jewelry and metal sculptures reflecting the themes of family, support networks, parenthood and memory.

The exhibition is called Nature, Nurture & Cocoon and runs until June 28th.

It is the first exhibition to be held in the Museum's new Community Gallery.

Admission is free. Chamberlain Square, Birmingham.  There is a lit to the Community Gallery at the Great Charles Street entrance.
