Tenant Election Results

Following the Board member elections held earlier this year, Robert Pagett has been elected to the Board and Chris Downes has been re-elected. Ron Hubball has retired from the Board after four years and Liz O'Donnell has stepped down from the Board as she is moving away from the area.

Following these appointments, there remain two vacancies for Tenant Directors on the Board. The Board is currently reviewing its organisational structure to ensure that it is as effective as it can be and provides the greatest opportunity for resident involvement. The Board will consider the filling of the two vacant posts whilst undertaking the review. If you would like to find out more about becoming a Board member, and to understand what is involved, please contact the Chief Executive, Simon Kimberley, on 687 3100 or email at spk@optima.org.uk. All residents are very welcome to attend Optima Board meetings and Committees. If you would like to do this please contact Bridget Callaghan on 687 3105 or via email at brc@optima.org.uk, she will be able to give you details of meeting times and dates, provide you with the papers for the meetings and answer any queries that you may have.
