Optima supports Fairtrade fornight

Residents are being urged to swap their normal purchases for Fairtrade items to support small farmers abroad and combat poverty.

Special packs of Fairtrade items are being distributed to community groups throughout Attwood Green so they can hold a tea party and hopefully make the swap to Fairtrade products.

The initiative is being organised by Optima’s Sustainability Officer, Bernie McCullagh as part of the national Fairtrade fortnight which runs until March 7^th.
