Residents invited to have a say in the design of new homes

Optima is reviewing the design and specification of all new homes to make sure that we continue to build to the highest possible standards and meet the needs and aspirations of our present and future customers.

 We are also introducing a higher level of sustainability into new homes commissioned from April 1st this year, to make sure that they are as ‘green’ as possible andachieve lower energy bills for our residents.

 David Stevenson, Optima’s new Director of Property Services said, ‘We are establishing a residents design panel to review our design standards for all new houses and apartments andwe are looking for residents who might be interestedin getting involved in this process to comment on our proposals.’

The residents design panel will meet once a month between March and June and some site visits will be be arranged, so that the panel cagain a feel for some of our recently built houses and apartments at Hudsons Drive and Stone Road.
