Launch of Affordable Housing Scheme This Saturday
Optima is launching the final phase of two and three bedroom apartments at its award winning affordable housing scheme at Hudsons Drive, Cotteridge, Birmingham B30 3EN on Saturday 23rd January 11 am - 3 pm.
The scheme is aimed at people who can’t afford to buy out-right like Laura McCormack a 22-year-old bank advisor who moved into a brand new 3 bedroom house with her 2-year-old daughter and 25-year-old partner Dan Spooner a car valeter, just before Christmas.
She said: ”We were living just round the corner in rented accommodation when we heard about the new houses being built at Hudsons Drive.
"Affordable housing was perfect for us as getting a full mortgage was not an option. Finally we have a place we can call our own."
The scheme has been bucking the trend despite the recession with homes being snapped up by eager buyers off-plan and recently won the Best Social Housing Development Category in the LABC New Homes Warrantly awards.
Liz Wareham of Optima’s affordable housing subsidiary, Attwood Homes said: "Our homes tick all the right boxes for purchasers. Not only are they properties people can afford to buy, it's a high quality and attractive traditional styled scheme within easy access to public transport and the local shopping centre."
"Three apartments have already been sold so I would urge people to act now and visit us to find out more about this scheme and future developments."
Apartments are available for sale from £59,750 for a 50% share.
