Development Optima has set a challenge for itself over the coming years to complete the wide scale regeneration of five inner city estates. The aim is to create a sustainable, mixed tenure community across the whole area. We have refurbished 1,150 homes, demolished 1,400 and will build a total of 1,122 brand new homes for rent with 250 for shared ownership. All our homes exceed the government’s Decent Homes standard. The next 3-4 years will see the completion of the outstanding zones that make up the Park Central phase of the Attwood Green regeneration. These, along with the Optima schemes at Stone Road and Lytham Croft, will bring to a close the provision of social housing in the area. Persimmon in the ensuing years will be moving along with the last remaining piece of the jigsaw at Woodview.
